MIME can be used to mesh diverse and complex applications, internal and external fluids, in the aerospace, automotive and heavy industries. Able to create meshes for CFD and FEA, as well as combinations for multiphysical models.

MIME is unique because it was conceived and developed by the same people who also developed CFD++ and who use it in their daily lives. It is designed to solve CFD problems effectively and efficiently, that is, quickly and consistently.

Created to generate mesh or meshes!

MIME is not a CAD package and does not have a CAD cleanup tool, but it works well with many CAD packages. MIME’s focus is on meshing over very complex geometries in a consistent way so the user will have expected results and respected physics. And in a way that it can be replicated, without having to invoke the GUI every time.

Direct CAD Import

MIME provides a method of importing the native CAD model directly, without the need for translation. MIME works with all CAD systems that can produce solid model formats (eg ACIS, Parasolid, Granite). With Pro/Engineer, MIME can use native CAD data files. MIME can also work with discrete geometry (surface mesh) representations such as STL.
